Campbell Woman Joins Silicon Valley's Red Cross Volunteers Headed to Washington

Ann Herosy, an operation management volunteer from Campbell, is among the trained volunteers deployed Wednesday by the Red Cross' Silicon Valley chapter.

Herosy, along with Susann Newswanger, of Sunnyvale, John Griffiths of San Jose, Kevin Austin, a logistics volunteer from San Jose, and Edwin Ehmke, a technology volunteer from Menlo Park are part of the American Red Cross Silicon Valley's  efforts  for the Oso, Washington Landslide Relief Effort,  providing support and comfort to those dealing with this tragedy and awaiting information on loved ones.

The Red Cross is providing shelter, food, water and emotional support to Oso residents, their families, and emergency responders.
