“The Boston Marathon is more than a race, it was our childhood," says Andy Brown, Patxi’s Culinary Director and Boston-native on the pizzeria's blog.

The fundraiser will benefit The One Fund Boston charity formed by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino. The pizzeria's legal partner, Hanson Bridgett will match the day's donation up to $10,000.

Along with the 10 percent donation from the Campbell location or any of the seven locations in California, each Patxi's will also be holding a raffle, with tickets costing $5 or four for $15.

"We are doing a raffle for different prizes, including signed SF Giants jerseys, iPods and more," says Nicolas Halfen, Campbell Patxi's General Manager. "However we can help the fund."
