President Barack Obama arrived in the Bay Area on Wednesday evening for a short fundraising trip that included two events in San Francisco that night.

From the city, Obama headed to Atherton for a morning brunch of 30 people hosted by Liz Simons and Mark Heising, followed by a 10:30 a.m. luncheon with 200 people at the home of Marcia and John Goldman. Those stops will benefit the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Low was at the event, which he says was a private one and was not paid for with public funds, as a special guest. The invite did not cost Low any money.

Obama will depart from San Francisco International Airport this afternoon.
