Campbell Pet Owners Can Renew Licenses Online

An updated webpage set up by the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority allows users to renew pet licenses, update home addresses or make a donation to the center.

A new online pet licensing service is now under way for pet owners who live in Campbell, Mountain View, Monte Sereno and Santa Clara.

The Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority has set up a website where pet owners can buy a new pet license or renew an existing one without visiting the Animal Control Authority offices. Pet owners can also use the website to file a change of address or make a donation to the program.  

Before logging onto the website, pet owners must have the following documents ready:

  • Rabies or vaccination certificate
  • Spay/neuter certificate if applicable
  • A Visa, Master or Discover card for payment

Yearly license fees are $22 for dogs that are spayed or neutered; $100 for dogs that aren’t. For cats, the annual fee is $10 for those that are spayed or neutered; $18 for those that aren’t. Discounts are available for pet owners who buy multi-year licenses.

For pet owners who are 65 and older, license fees are waived for one animal per household; regular fees will be charged for additional animals at the same address.  For details, visit the Animal Services website.
