Patch is looking to create a guide of nearby summer camps for kids, and seeks your ideas first.

If you’re thinking of sending your child to a summer camp in a few months, there are no doubt many choices available. From soccer to Chinese-language immersion — and ranging in length from one-day to the whole summer — there are camps suited to the interests of most kids.

Patch is looking for your help in creating a guide to the best local camps, so we would love to hear your suggestions for nearby ones in the categories below. Tell us in the comments, or send an email to Associate Local Editor Rachel Stern at rachel.stern@patch.com

As a kid I loved Camp Campbell It's located in Boulder Creek. It's been 50 years since I was last there, but I plan on checking it out in the near future.

I have to say that the Campbell Parks and Rec puts on a great summer camp at J.D. Morgan park. The kids have a blast and the camp personnel are enthusiastic and great with the kids!
