Agriculture in Crates

Hyde & Co. Campbell was one of several family companies in the Orchard City.

This week's history photo is another in a series of agricultural ones.

In this photo taken in the 1920s, men gather dried fruit in the Hyde Drying Yard in Campbell. This photo was made into a postcard and used in a scrapbook.

Workers are shown tipping dried fruit cots into wooden fruit crates.  The crates are stamped in white with "Hyde & Co. Campbell" on their ends.  The men are surrounded by full cots of dried fruit.
