One of the biggest annual art events in San Jose, this year marks the 20th anniversary of Bill Gould’s dedication to showcasing local artists. Over 100 Bay Area artists display work in this celebratory exhibition and exciting exhibit of contemporary fine art at Artik Art & Architecture.

From abstract to figurative; large scale to intimate pieces; works on paper to sculptural forms; the retrospective encompasses more than 100 pieces by primarily Bay Area artists, who have previously shown in the exhibition program over the last two decades.  The selected works, curated by Kathryn Funk, give a sweeping overview of contemporary art in the Bay Area, from both well established and emerging artists. Some participants include: Kathryn Dunlevie, Ema Harris-Sintamarian, Kelly Detweiler, Stan Welsh, Beverly Rayner, Charlotte Kruk, and Ann Weber. (For a complete list of artists visit: www.artika3.com.)
