Register today for Silicon Valley Adult Education’s new EKG Technician class and earn your EKG Technician certification in as little as eight sessions!
During the weekly Saturday class, students will be provided with the technical knowledge, theory, and practical application of EKG monitoring systems in a variety of areas including: Anatomy of the heart & cardiovascular system; 12 Lead EKG operational system techniques & interpretation; Operation of Electrocardiogram; and Detection of heart disease and other cardiovascular disorders. Upon successful completion of the 40 hour class, students will become EKG certified.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Choose from two sessions: January 25 to March 22 or March 29 to May 17. Cost is $300 for the eight session series plus a $40 annual registration fee. A high school diploma or GED is required to enroll and knowledge of medical terms is helpful.
