Annual 9/11 Blood Drive Sept. 6

The 12th annual “Remember 9/11” Rotary Club of Campbell blood drive will be held Friday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at EMQ Families First Community Center Room 251 Llewellyn Ave., Campbell (one block south of Hamilton).

 

Donors can make their life-saving appointment by logging on to redcrossblood.org, using Sponsor Code SJ Rotary or call Michelle at 408- 327-4344 or EMQ at 379-3790.

The drive marks the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, said Jerry Cummings, Rotary’s chair for the event.  “The need for blood is constant and the gratification of giving is instant,” he said.  “We’re hoping for the same strong community response we’re received in the past.”

The blood drive is held in cooperation with EMQ Families First and the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
