This week's history photo hits on the Valley's relationship with missions.

In this particular black and white photo of a postcard, you can see Mission Santa Clara de Asis, California 1777. The original postcard location is unknown.

In the picture, a scene of daily life in the early years after it was founded in 1777. Some of the lands owned by the mission later become Campbell.

The backside of the postcard is detailed, but was never used. The postcard was printed and published by the Pacific Novelty Co. of San Francisco, California.
