Car in Campbell Goes Up in Smoke

A car fire was reported by the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

A car caught on fire on Hamilton Avenue Tuesday morning, Santa Clara County Fire Department said in a release.

The fire occurred at 8:27 a.m. on Nov. 13 and, according to the release, the cause of the flames was a mechanical failure in the engine area of the car.

There was a total of $8,000 in property damage and $200 in damages to the contents of the car.

The car pictured here is not of this particular car fire but of another that occurred in a similar spot on Hamilton Avenue and caught by Campbell Patch reader Adam Valles.
